That’s right people – tell your plant-based foodie friends that the accessible answer to stamping out bland tasting food forever “is on its way at last!”.
Our plant-based version has substituted the all-important fish sauce in the original Zumami recipe with a superb “Vegan Fish Sauce”, made by Red Lotus of Sydney. Condiment aficionados have been giving the test samples a huge thumbs up, so it was only a matter of time until we just had to go into production.
Plant-Based Zumami will be appearing shortly in a new format 275g jar – that’s almost 40% more product than original Zumami. And thanks to feedback from our wonderful Zumami customers, these new jars have wider necks too, making it easier still to get the very last gram of Zumami out of the jar and onto your veggie burger! Original Zumami is still readily available at stockists and online - so nothing changed there (phew!)
In another first, Plant Based Zumami is being made at our recently commissioned Mouthwater Foods HQ kitchen in Moss Vale, making it a 100 % locally made NSW Southern Highlands artisan product.
